Job Summary

W e   are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to join our Organizational Development team. In this role, you will design and develop high-quality learning programs and instructional materials to support internal professional development and talent management initiatives. You will collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and training leads to deliver engaging and effective training through various modalities, including virtual, in-person, and eLearning platforms.

 

 

Job Description

  • Design and develop instructional content using the ADDIE model and adult learning principles.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and internal stakeholders to define training goals and learning outcomes.
  • Create curriculum and training materials for instructor-led (in-person and virtual) and self-paced eLearning modules.
  • Develop engaging training assets using multimedia tools such as PowerPoint, Camtasia, and Articulate.
  • Evaluate and revise existing training programs to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  • Produce learning resources across various formats including print, graphics, audio, video, and animation.
  • Develop supplemental materials such as job aids, facilitator guides, and quick reference sheets.
  • Upload and manage training content through Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Talent Management Systems.
  • Explore and recommend new instructional technologies and strategies to enhance training outcomes.
  • Manage multiple course design projects from conception to delivery while meeting established timelines.
  • Participate in curriculum development planning and review processes.
  • Ensure all content is aligned with organizational goals and learning objectives.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and best practices in instructional design and adult learning.
  • Contribute to innovation in learning and development initiatives across the organization.

 

Job Skills Required

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in instructional design or related training development roles.
  • Strong experience with eLearning authoring tools (Camtasia, Articulate, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with LMS and SCORM-compliant content; Cornerstone LMS experience is a plus.
  • Experience with both in-person and virtual instructor-led training design and delivery.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and project management skills.
  • Graphic design skills are a plus.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communications, Instructional Technology, Human Resources Development, or a related field.
