GEM Edwards Pharmacy , a division of GEMCORE, is a closed-door mail order pharmacy. We offer growth opportunities with potential of the role becoming a full-time Pharmacist upon obtaining Ohio state license.
Once license is complete, the plan would be to extend a full-time employment offer which would be accompanied by a salary increase.
This position is located in Hudson, OH
Hours of operation are 8:15am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday

Responsibilities for the Pharmacy Grad Intern:
Ensure the responsible use of medications and all aspects of pharmacy operations while effectively and efficiently maintaining compliance with all regulatory agencies and state boards of pharmacy.
Help maintain policies and procedures for the procurement, storage, compounding, and dispensing of drugs.
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Oversee, track, and implement new Standard Operating Procedures to ensure compliance to current and updated accreditation standards (ACHC, URAC, NABP).
Key Requirements:
Must be a graduate of an ACPE accredited College or School of Pharmacy with a PharmD degree.
Plan in place to sit for the state licensing exam
Ability to communicate in a multi discipline environment across all business units
Must exhibit excellent telephone, customer service and computer skills with the desire to represent the department in a professional and courteous manner
Ability to problem solve and establish trust
Must be able to adapt to an ever-changing environment
Possess a high level of product knowledge and highly developed communication skills
