Safety Supervisor

Location: San Antonio, TX

Salary: $80,000 – $120,000 + 10% bonus

In this role, you will:

  • Lead investigations into all incidents and near-misses, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions are fully implemented.
  • Train and coach employees on MSHA regulations, site-specific policies, and evolving best practices to maintain the highest safety standards.
  • Manage compliance programs, completing audits, inspections, and all required reporting to federal, state, and company standards.
  • Champion continuous improvement by developing Task Training programs, updating Safety Management Systems, and supporting capital project planning from a health and safety lens.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with site leaders and the Regional Safety Manager to embed safety into daily operations and long-term strategic plans.

What you’ll bring:

  • 4–6 years’ experience in safety leadership at a heavy manufacturing, surface, or underground mining site.
  • Expertise in MSHA compliance; strong working knowledge of DOT regulations is a plus.
  • MSHA Parts 46 & 48 certification is preferred, but candidates with strong OSHA-based safety leadership in heavy industry will also be considered
  • Proven success influencing frontline teams and leadership alike.
  • Skilled in conducting training, audits, investigations, and Workers’ Compensation case support.
