Role Overview


Sodexo is seeking an experienced Senior Area Executive Chef for a Campus District . States will include Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin . This position provides culinary support to units in terms of cross unit culinary expertise, sales presentation support, bench strength to District/Area. This position can live in any of the 5 states close to a major airport, with 60-65% travel involved. Sodexo provides college campuses with food, nutrition, environmental, and facilities management solutions. What You'll Do


  • ensure Sodexo Culinary Standards including recipe compliance and food quality
  • manage food costing, controls and compliance
  • develop menus and manage inventory
  • have high expectations for customer service and quality of food
  • have the ability and willingness to develop and train frontline employees
  • have a passion for food and innovation
  • have knowledge of special diets and allergens

  • a strong culinary background and presence, with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends
  • excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards and implements company policies
  • previous experience working in a high volume facility; and
  • strong management skills.
