Position Information:
Lee Physician Group is seeking full-time Clinical Psychologist to join our comprehensive womens health team in Fort Myers. Practice includes OB/GYN physicians, CNMs, APRNs and a womens health psychiatrist. We are also in the process of hiring a urogynecologist. The candidate for this position must have a doctorate in psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an APA-approved training program. Applicant must hold a Clinical Psychologist License. The candidate will provide behavioral medicine services which include applying psychological knowledge and principles in an integrated setting to treat common physical and mental health problems experienced by mothers and families including consultation, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment consistent with an integrated model. Maintains records and attends required hospital and residency meetings. Collaborate with colleagues on the inpatient and outpatient services. Primary responsibility will be to assist with developing services consistent with collaborative care within a patient-centered medical home. There will be some opportunity to provide didactics, run a support group, and teach residents within the same specialty.
