Job Title : Commercial Painting Estimator – Charlotte, NC

Pay Range : $80,000 - $120,000 based on experience

Full Time, Immediate Hire

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Commercial Painting Estimtator - The estimator is responsible for generating accurate and timely estimates and providing the client with a complete and descriptive proposal. The estimator must be able to meet clients on-site, confirm scope of work, read drawings and specifications, fill out bid forms, read contracts, and generate a budget to give to the project manager and supervisor. They will also assist the PM in pre-con and other owner meetings. The role requires follow up on old proposals and assisting the project manager with submittals, schedules, and notices.

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year Commercial painting estimating experience required
• 3-5 years of Commercial painting estimating experience preferred
• Proficient in Outlook, OneDrive, Word and Excel
• Proficient in budgeting, calculations, and estimating
• High degree of organization and accuracy
• Excellent customer service, communication, and people skills
• Ability to prospect and acquire new customers
• Positive attitude and motivated
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and practices
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Willingness to travel to job sites and meet with clients as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively seek and engage potential customers through networking, referrals, and marketing efforts.
• Conduct on-site consultations to assess client needs, present service options, and provide accurate estimates.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Follow up on leads promptly and professionally to close deals effectively.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets to qualify for performance-based bonuses.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and Groovy Hues Painting services.
