Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) is seeking an Outreach Coordinator to join our team supporting a major state & local government customer. This position reports to the Outreach Director.

Essential duties of this position include:

• Edits, proofreads, and provides writing support.
  
• Conceptualizes, lays out, and prepares high-quality graphics, text, and templates.
  
• Designs, prepares, and creates new media projects on non-technical and/or technical documents or sections of documents prepared by writers (such as manuals, procedures, and specifications).
  
• Checks drafts for format, clarity, and overall cohesiveness.
  
• Ensures documents meet editorial and government specifications and adhere to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format, and style.
  
• Produces and/or revises technical articles, proposals, publications, books, manuals, reports, and marketing materials.
  
• Determines project requirements and presents drafts of finished products to the user, ensuring high quality of output.
  
• Reviews rough drafts and makes suggestions for improvement.
  
• Designs and develops multimedia applications, systems, and products involving computer graphics and interactive computing using a variety of new media software applications, techniques, and tools.

Qualifications

Required Education and Qualifications:

• BS Degree in a related discipline and 1 year of relevant experience.
  
• Limited use and/or application of principles, theories, and concepts.
  
• Knowledge of industry practices and standards.
  
• Ability to receive predetermined work assignments with specific instructions.
  
• Candidates must be able to pass a CJIS Criminal Justice background investigation and maintain CJIS clearance throughout employment term. Citizenship required

Required Experience:

• Skilled in Microsoft Office, Excel a must.
• Solving routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.
  
• Working under close supervision and following specific, detailed instructions.
  
• Contributions usually limited to task-related activities.
  
• Ensuring errors do not typically have a major effect on the organization.

Preferred Experience:  

• Contacting primarily with immediate supervisor, project leaders, and other professionals in the group for information sharing and problem resolution.
• Experience communicating with government agencies and various stakeholders.
• Experience with Canva or similar tools
• Experience with CRM tools

Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
