Job Description

Job Title: Power BI Data Analyst

Location: 100% Remote, Within the United States

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Required Qualifications:

Mastery in data analytics with the ability to extract, interpret, and present complex datasets.
Proficient in using Power BI to create dynamic dashboards and interactive visual reports.
Experience in creating, testing, and deploying Power BI scripts using Python, M, and DAX.
Proven ability to execute deep, efficient data analysis and provide actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in data-related tasks.
Experience with Source Control tools such as Git or Bitbucket.
Familiarity with SAS datasets, particularly .sas7bdat files.
Working knowledge of Jira for project and task tracking.
Prior experience with state government projects.
Exposure to other Business Intelligence tools such as SAP and Tableau.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Power BI solutions tailored to business needs.
Perform advanced data modeling and report building using Power BI tools and languages.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
Ensure data accuracy, quality, and security throughout the reporting lifecycle.
Work with data engineers and analysts to integrate diverse data sources.
Provide technical documentation and support for BI solutions.
Participate in code review processes and contribute to source control management.
